“Very clean and the host let us check in early on Thanksgiving”

“I needed a place near my son and daughter-in-law where I could retreat to after helping with the arrival of a new grand baby. This cute little cottage was the perfect spot. Only 4 miles down the road, neat and clean and plenty big enough for little ole me. I really only had two snafu's that I was able to work around. The week I arrived was a cold one with temperatures in the teens. That caused the door keypad to not work properly for me but after calling the manager he quickly came over and……

“Our family met here for Christmas this year and it was absolutely lovely. Beautiful holiday decor and the hot cocoa bar was a hit with the kids. The home is exactly as pictured (except the exterior is red now instead of grey, which confused me upon arrival). Plenty of space for the family to spread out but also well-designed for the whole group to be in one room watching a holiday movie and playing games. We also used the pool at the clubhouse and the kids loved the comfortable water……

“Communication was great, and owner/management team were very thoughtful. There is definitely wear showing on some of the furniture and home details. There was a screw popping out of the shower faucet handle assembly in the en-suite. We couldn’t get the oven on the lower level to work, and the oven on the main level had major temp issues, needs calibration badly. Keurig machine was finicky, saying it needs to be descaled. Filter light was blinking on the fridge, and the ice machine didn’t work. ……
