Stairs are a challenge after skiing, but the owner doesn't hide the fact you get your exercise in and there is lift if you need it. Only thing that would have been helpful is a bit of salt applied to hill to unit; the journey up the hill could be a bit slippery. But five stars overall. ”

“We stayed for four nights over President's Day week with our daughter and three of her high school friends (all juniors). It was a great trip and most of what made it great was how wonderful Steven's place was to stay.The location cannot be beat for easy access to skiing. We stashed our skis in the garage, so all we had to do was walk down the stairs (38 btw) with our boots in hand, put them on and carry the skis 50 feet to where we could ski down to the Stagecoach lift. If you get the 11 - you are renting the 11 bedroom side of the property whose entrance is 1 level lower than the street level and it is essentially the lower 3 floors. The 4 bedroom part is the top 2 levels and the entrance is at the street level. If you are confused - wait until you rent the whole property (15 bedrooms). It is truly an amazing property. Not the best in terms of construction and it shows in the alignment of doors, windows, toilets etc……
