“We came to Lake Norman to visit our grandchildren who live in Sherrills Ford. This home was 10 min. from their home. The cove this home is located in is calm and almost mystical. The home has everything one would need for a lakeside visit and more! We did not even have time to enjoy everything. Additional bonus was having a dock to tie up our son’s ski boat during our stay. ”

“This rental was just as described. It was very cute clean and cozy. The couple hosting the rental were very friendly and we enjoyed visiting the farm. Kevin, Hamlet and the dogs were fantastic. We came to town for a fundraiser and for the NASCAR race. We certainly could have stayed closer to Concord but this was a lovely place to stay and really not too far away. The setting made it well worth the few extra miles to drive to the race and other events near Concord. We look forward to our……

“This is the 3rd time we’ve stayed here. We only get a vacation every few years and this is the only place we’ve come back multiple times. It is perfect for us. Our kids first started coming here when they were younger and now they are both adults and it’s still their favorite place. ”

“Planned for my Birthday and it was amazing! Very quiet and serial. Beautiful view of the lake. The cabin itself was very clean but the decks could have been a bit cleaner, full of spider nests on the windows and chairs. All in all still worthy of a definite 5 star. Was very enjoyable!”

The kids could launch the kayaks on their own. The cottage looked just like the pictures in the listing. We had everything we needed, and more. The hosts we so kind, and quick to respond.
