“The main bed is in the loft and the steep angle of the roof makes getting into bed an adventure as we are over 70. Cabin was ok but a few cobwebs and some dog hair on loft floor.”

“Amazing property in a secluded feeling area while still being a reasonable drive to downtown Bellingham and a short drive to beautiful Whatcom Falls. The house was immaculate, the beds were very comfortable, good cooking supplies, even the toilet paper was high quality! Communication from the hosts was very good and they accommodated a special request we had. Would absolutely recommend and stay here again!”

“You cannot beat the view from this property! My family and I enjoyed a relaxing weekend here while heading into Bellingham for fun during the day. There are stairs to access the property (which we knew), but that is something to consider if booking. The access road and driveway are also fairly steep--we have an AWD so it was not a concern. “We have stayed in many rentals over the past 20 years and this was one of my favorites. Hosts have thought of everything from a personalized welcome note to wine, scones and s’mores fixings. “We came to Bellingham to do some mountain biking and hiking. Bellingham is a wonderful destination for all things outdoors but this home is absolutely paradise. It is beautiful with plenty of space. The yard was beautiful. There are great places to lounge and the hot tub and sauna were the cherry on top. The inside was spacious and clean and was perfect for our family to gather. The bedrooms were comfortable.”

“This is property is a Thousand Trails campground that accepts non-members. It’s clean, quiet and friendly. We went during the off season, so the pool and store were closed. That isn’t mentioned anywhere on the hotels.com website, or on the property website, so do your research before booking. We rented a cabin, and were expected to strip the beds, sweep floors and put all trash in the dumpster prior to checkout, or we would be charged a cleaning fee.
