“We are foster parents and needed to come to town for a hockey tournament. The cost of 2 hotel rooms to fit our family was double the cost of renting this amazing little house, enough beds amd space for us all the have a comfortable time. Beds were so comfortable we slept like babies! Played games at the table, cooked meals as a family and everyone had a great time making memories. Living room furniture was not super cozy- only negative! ”

“Had no trouble finding this lovely place on the lake. Overall enjoyed our stay, however: House needed a deep cleaning. Beds were uncomfortable. Foam mattress toppers were too hot. Sheets and blankets didn’t fit the king bed. Both bedrooms/1 bathroom are downstairs, and dehumidifier needed emptying several times a day. Refrigerator water dispenser incredibly slow. “We went here for our “Spring” break trip in March. Very nice property! A cozy northern getaway! A lot of outdoor activities that made it even more worthwhile. Great communication with the lister and lots of flexibility on their end. Only thing that we were a bit surprised by was how much iron there was in the water but this was at no fault of the lister, just comes with this region. Highly recommend!”

“I wanted to go to Florida for my son's spring break, but he wanted to do something different from all his friends, so we ended up in the UP, and I am glad we did! I don't think I have seen a better sunset anywhere!The house is beautiful, with an amazing great room, killer kitchen and the master bathroom has the largest shower I have ever been in!The beach is sandy, wild and rugged (given the time of year, we did not go in the water)The firepit with supplied firewood was quite the added bonus. “We come to Michigan to go snowmobiling and stayed in this house. It was 2 miles either way to the trails. The house was very nice, very clean, and well-appointed. The fireplace was nice. There was a lot of places to sit and hang out. The property was well kept and the owners were very kind and responsive. We would absolutely stay here again. ”

“Our family loved our getaway to Santa’s Shack whole house! There were seven of us, and we all had our own bed with plenty of space to hang out as a large group or individually. The house was fully equipped to meet all of our needs, and the hot tub was a great addition! It was easy to find, and located with quick convenient access to restaurants, waterfalls, hiking trails, and the casino. We would definitely stay here again. “We had a fantastic time at the Beach Cottage with our dog. The cabin itself was gorgeous and had everything we could have possibly needed. It was cold and somewhat rainy for the weekend, but the pellet stove and space heaters made for a couple cozy nights on the couch. Our dog loved exploring the backyard and beach area, which was more of a marsh given the rain. There was plenty of firewood for a fire if we’d chosen to use the outdoor fire pit. "The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
