“This cottage was great for our family. It is located right on the river bank in a quiet area. The living room and kitchen were roomy, and the bedrooms plenty big.It was clean and well stocked with kitchen ware, and paper products.The outside area was great for sitting as a group, having an evening around the fire pit, or sticking your feet in the river. We had paddle boarders and swimmers with us that took advantage of being riverside. Nobody brought a fishing pole, so I don’t know about fishing……

“It was a beautiful and quiet getaway. The lake was peaceful and the cabin clean and perfect for our small group of 4. The property was also in driving distance of some beautiful hiking and Lake Superior scenery. Highly recommend! ”

“The property is easy walking distance to restaurants, cafes and the harbor. There was ample parking. The door and lock are secure. Decor is cozy with a small living room, kitchen, and two bedrooms. “We LOVED our stay at this cabin. The kitchen is equipped with most everything you will need to cook. They have plenty firewood on hand. All of the furniture is super comfortable and clean. The fireplace outside is perfect to make some smores. There’s a laundry room onsite. The grill is ready to use. We ran out of propane and when we notified the owners, we were promptly delivered a propane tank! The fire stick on the TV was a nice addition as well. My only complaint is that the ladder for the……

"The first night I was arranged to stay behind the elevator, which made me feel uncomfortable and vibrated. Because it was a standard double room with two beds, it was better for me to sleep in the other bed. Since I had placed two reservations, the girl at the front desk said that I had to move to the room downstairs for the second night. I said it was inconvenient, and she said there was no other way because the room was fully booked. The next day I asked another woman if I could not move to the first floor, and she said yes. I checked and found that the room rate I paid to Expedia for the second night was more expensive than the first night. Why did the hotel move me to a pet-friendly room on the first floor? It would be very inconvenient for me to move back and forth, which would affect my schedule."
