“We loved the great-room just off the dining/kitchen area, as well as the boat dock for lounging and kayaking. Used the patio for grilling and campfire with s'mores. The location at the north end of the lake is a convenient launching point for area attractions. Couldn't really use the spare sitting room as a bedroom, but fortunately we didn't need it. Had a few minor issues, but the owner/host was very responsive. ”

“Everything from reservations to check out was wonderful. The accommodations were very cozy and the surroundings by the pond and animal enclosures were beautiful. We enjoyed seeing some deer and wild turkey from our window also. We chatted with Peter and he is delightful. Other than a few minute chat, we only saw he and his wife doing chores around the farm. We stayed in HB1. HB2 is basically the same and the Manor House right behind them looked.great for a larger party. ”

“We stayed at the house for about 5 days. Location was definitely rural. Our drive in was very scenic, farmlands and open plains and livestock. First impression was that the house was well appointed. “The house is gorgeous, and the lake view is incredible! But the best part of our Thanksgiving Week here was the amazing customer service of the owners. They bent over backwards to assist us and were just wonderful to work with. There were 17 of us and everyone was comfortable and happy here. I cannot recommend this house enough! “The house was perfect for our needs and three families. The two separate living rooms and TV areas were perfect to have extra space for the kids, who also loved the ping-pong and pool table . The house was clean and well maintained, kitchen had tons of space and everything we needed. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. We had a little success fishing from the dock and enjoyed taking the canoes out. Love the house and hope to be back. Thanks!”
