“We were a group of 7 adults and had a nice weekend stay. The house was clean and well furnished and the outdoor area is great. When I contacted the host with questions a few days before our stay they got back to me quickly. The only negatives were: a few of the items they said were included in the listing were actually not (firewood, paper towel, no hand soap in the kitchen); the bathroom in the primary bedroom has a jetted tub but only a handheld attachment for showers (it is not mounted) which……

From the peaceful setting to breakfasts around the kitchen table to afternoons by the amazing pool, this property has it all. Located close to lots of great activities, this is a great place for a home base while you explore Lake Michigan, antique shopping, great restaurants, wineries, and more. Highly recommended!”

“Our group of 5 women (all 65+) had a great time. The pool was awesome, and the owner keeps it up nicely. The pool stairs and handrail are just what our group needed. Our host responded freaky fast when we had our one snafu (lighting the grill) so we had no problems at all. That being said, this is probably better suited for a young family due to a few smaller sized rooms and the stairs. We definitely appreciated having the privacy and the kitchen is well stocked, even for this picky group.”

“Enjoyed a nice relaxing time with family and celebrating Thanksgiving. The house was awesome, and it reminded us of our farmhouse in Virginia. The big table allowed us to have a wonderful meal. We will defiantly use this house again when we visit.”

“We were in the region for my daughter's wedding at Hidden Vinyard Wedding Barn. Family and close friends were able to stay with us and it made the four nights feel like one long extended visit with people we don't get to see often. The house was very well equipped with kitchen equipment and dishes and was comfortable inside and out with areas to gather and relax, play cards or swim (though it was getting a little cold!), and the fire pit was cozy too with the nice Adirondack chairs. Coffee……

“The accomodations for this stay were amazing! The home is beautiful as well as the property! So convenient to visit many little harbor towns. The only issue we has was the bunk bed rooms. The mattresses on these beds were very unforgiving(especially considering adults were sleeping in lower bunk) the other 2 main rooms and beds were extremely comfortable! So very dog friendly and thoughtful touches and attention to detail. We highly recommend this atay! ”
