“We enjoyed five days at this lovely modern cabin in Cavendish. We were delighted with the quiet wooded setting and the aesthetically pleasing cabin where everything from building materials to bedding were chosen with care and an eye for quality. We enjoyed the using the complimentary kayaks in Knapp Pond and using the hot tub and fire pit on cool evenings. “The host was great at communicating. The property is beautiful. Feels off the beaten path especially as the pavement ends and you continue down the road a bit. But it was close enough to Northfield, where we spent most of our time for Norwich's graduation ceremony. The sound of the creek is very relaxing. “This little cabin nails it. Charming log-cabin decor with two comfortable beds in lofts. You can look out the skylights to the trees (and the stars) while lying in bed. The kitchen has everything you need - perhaps not ideal for cooking huge meals but great for breakfast and other basic meals.
