“My family had a great stay here. It's a very unique and artful space. It worked great for six of us varying in age ranges with 2 adults and 4 kids. The Salvage Sip Cafe just up Main Street has great coffee and some breakfast items like croissants, bagels, and muffins. We're in this area somewhat regularly and would definitely stay here again. :-)”

There are some qualities about the interior that are surprising - holes in the wall, fruit fly infestation, missing toilet seats, patched walls that weren't painted over. The listing is accurate in terms of amenitites and everything, however. “I failed to read the part that the refrigerator was not in working order. I just expected that any place you stay in will automatically have a refrigerator. I was disappointed that I missed that important detail. When we arrived at the house we were surprised that it was located taken back by the home itself. “We didn't stay! You’ll probably notice that there are no pictures of the exterior of the property. That’s because the building, and the whole surrounding area, is rundown, dirty, squalid and in disrepair. There were people drinking and fighting nearby. Not surprisingly, we found out afterwards that the property is in the worst section of Stroudsburg when it comes to crime. My wife and I are an older couple, and we did not feel safe in that environment so we left without checking in.”
