“My partner and I stayed over christmas in what was the perfect cottage. If you want to believe that you're in some tiny small town america during christmas, this is the perfect place to be. It was by far the most peaceful and relaxing christmas.I've had in a long time. The stove is wonderful and makes me want to upgrade mine at my own house and the rest of the appliances are also amazing. Ten out of ten, we'll be staying again.”

“We (a group of friends and one tiny dog) spent a lovely and snowy weekend in Bob and Tammy's cozy cabin. Anything we needed--extra blankets, coffee filters, a colander--was there, and Bob even stopped by to give us some advice about navigating the property through the snow. We could not have asked for better hosts or a more comfortable cabin. Without a doubt, we would stay here again! 10/10”

“This is a lovely property right on the water. It was perfect for our 4 person family and dog. We loved relaxing on the screened in porch and exploring the river banks. The zero entry river bank was perfect for our water loving dog to explore. We even took our paddle boards up river to check out the small islands, turtles, and birds. It was a great location in regards to the national park entrance and downtown Luray. Just buckle up for the bumpy dirt road drive in! Spotty cellphone service kept……

“The downstairs area would not get warm enough to stay downstairs, the wood for the back porch was rotting too underneath so we stayed off that, and I’m not sure if it was someone who stayed before left a box of beer by the jacuzzi. Overall we had a good time. ”

“Overall this was a great place for a getaway with my husband! The cottage is very well done. It's incredibly clean, well stocked, and the furnishings and supplies are quite nice. The view is absolutely gorgeous and very peaceful. The "downsides" were that a bridge is under construction until late 2025 in the area so it takes longer to get to any stores. The last 5 minutes to the property are complete gravel roads and the very last part is a little steep. It's secluded but there is a house next……

“The listing is exactly as pictured. It is such a whimsical and comfy place to stay! The mountains are visible from the back porch, so I would sit outside with some tea in the morning and enjoy the sunrise! The little details around the property make it so enchanting! The host was also amazing! I had a couple questions during my stay, and the host was quick to reply and very kind. Everything I could have needed was available from bug spray and cleaning supplies to board games and coffee. The……

“We had a great stay at the cabin! The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need to cook at home but we would recommend bringing some groceries. The house was clean and inviting and offered lots of privacy. There was no cell service but the Wi-Fi was great. We’d love to return!”
