“you will find the home nestled at the bottom of a valley surrounded by forest. our dogs had a wonderful time exploring and smelling nature. while we enjoyed watching the abundant bird population and butterflys. we cant wait to come back! my only recommendation is, if you want your pups to hangout in the cave or go on the walking trails, I would bring dog shoes to protect their feet. some of the rocks can be sharp.. ”

“We all had a great time and the cabin is beautiful. The directions given were perfect. We hope to stay again. We launched our boat at a nearby marina and was able to park our trailer at the cabin. The road is tight, as we expected, but anyone with experience pulling a boat trailer shouldn't have any trouble. We were extremely happy with everthing during our stay!!”

“We had a family reunion on Monkey Island over Thanksgiving. This was one on the houses for the young adults. All events were at another house and this house was perfect for them. It was clean, had plenty of towels, etc and was perfect when they needed some quiet time away with their 10 month old. Great location! We would definitely book this again. ”

The location was perfect, and we had a blast playing Par 3, boating, enjoying the Shangri-La resort amenities, and watching the off-road racing at Little Blue state park. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed, and the place was spotless. The showers were fantastic, with heated floors adding a nice touch. We also loved relaxing in the hot tub. “My sister and I traveled from KC for a 3 night get away. The remodeled log cabin was the perfect destination. Beautiful backyard that we will enjoy when we come back in warmer weather. Great for bird watching in the morning. Impeccable condition. Simple, modern decor. Beds are very comfortable. Showers have great water pressure. We are runners and were able to go on long runs each day on different paths. Already looking forward to coming back in the Summer. ”

“I met up with three of my friends from college plus our husbands and kids for a weekend reunion. There were 8 adults and 10 teens/preteens. We had a great time.Positives: Plenty of space for everyone to sleep and also to spread out and not feel like we were all on top of each other. The kids enjoyed the game room, the place was pretty clean, all the beds were made up and ready for us, there was enough of all the necessities to get us started and a couple of dollar stores nearby for the things……
