“Exactly as advertised. If you want a spot for the family to come up and be close to the park, this is it. I’d like to leave a lousy review so that no one will book it and I can come back whenever I want to, but that would be a lie. We loved this place. Reminds us of cottages we’ve stayed in up in VT. “We stayed for two nights while attending a local event. Overall, the place was bigger and cozier than it appears—clean, quiet, and charming. The driveway easily fit three cars. The main bathroom is modern, the attic bedroom is well-insulated (great for kids), and the deck offers a nice lake view (though there’s no direct lake access). “The property was good. Just be mindful it is built around a single-wide. The couch was broken, but the owner was very responsive and apologized for not knowing that it was. The furnace is a little noisy and the beds are small. 150 acres is open for hunting so just be aware. Other than that, its a nice getaway.”
