“We were in the South Bay for a wedding at Nestledown and didn't want to make the drive back home after festivities. This cabin is indeed cute, definitely tucked into the forest, and couldn't be any more convenient for the wedding venue unless it was literally on site. “We had a really bad reservation with website, was so annoying and frustrating, was a really bad experience for payment, fire place out was out of gas and we are not satisfied because I just chose this place for the fire outside, I sent the message but nobody did not respond and they have to refund a part of the money. However the rest was good. ”

“this is a large, tranquil property very near the entrance of portola redwoods state park. there are 3 cabins, one occupied permanently in the front by a friendly and kind man ,Michael ( and his mom),who are keeping an eye out on everything. just behind the front cabin, there is a large 3 bedroom cabin which was our base for the park, along with a tiny ,but cozy cabin that was behind it, with plenty of room to stretch out for everybody. “I booked this property a year in advance because we were going to be there for work and it was a holiday weekend. We arrived in the afternoon to check in and they did not have a room for us. This was pretty catastrophic as we were starting work that night and did not have a place to take a shower and change after being in 100 degree weather all day working. The host was not helpful. Instead of trying to assist us in finding a room, he kept interrupting us when we were making calls to other……

“Overall, the little cabin at Masood’s Lodge was quaint and fairly well kept. Lots of areas set up to enjoy outside location. However, the linens or mattress in the bedroom smelled absolutely terrible (not sure if mattess had been vomited on at some point—there was no mattress pad on the bed to protect it) and did not want to use it. That is what ruined the stay for me. Everything else was fine.”

“The view was great. General layout of cabin is comfy and spacious, pretty similar to what the pictures show. As for cleanliness, the bathroom was not cleaned very well, the hand towel looked like it hadn't been cleaned for a looong time. My brother got multiple bites over his body during our stay, and had an allergic reaction for which he had to seek medical attention. Kitchen range stopped working while we were cooking dinner because it was overworked, and we contacted the owner for assistance.……
