“We came to do a little hiking around Lake Cushman, and this cabin was the perfect place to stay! Close to several trails, easy to locate, warm and cozy, and more spacious than I expected. We’d love to come back in the warmer months and take advantage of the golf course and nearby kayak rentals. Such a lovely little home and area! ”

“The home is so well taken care of. It has everything you need and more - nice snacks, lots of teas, fully equiped kitchen and bathroom. The bed, sheets and towels are very comfortable. And you cannot beat the location! On the water with great views, a very quiet neighborhood, lots of restaurants and an amazing bakery to walk to. “The directions from GPS take you to the end of a dirt road. There are no directions on the VRBO site or in the emailed directions to explain that. I had to call the owner to finally get an explanation, which was to walk down a gravel path to the house. All four of us are over 75! Hauling our luggage and bags of food were not in our plans! The photos make the home look much bigger and more modern than it actually is. The heating system is funky and the downstairs bathroom was pretty but always……

“Stayed 3 nights. Very comfortable size. Positioned between the peninsula and Seattle area. Very clean when we arrived. Be careful-Google Maps was off by about 500 feet for the turnoff. Could use more space for clothes. Nice kitchen and bathrooms. Quiet area off the main road.”

“The house is a great size, the view and location are wonderful. The hot tub was Sam and toasty. The bed were comfortable which is a huge plus. We had 3 issues. 2 are easy fixes. 1. Was that kitchen is missing quite a few things which made cooking interesting. 2. Was there was a really bad smell coming from the master bathroom vent.we bought a candle to help mask the smell. The 3rd was the soft spots in the floor, especially the hall. It felt as though our foot would go through the floor. But……

“It was a nice enough property. Owners are a busy family but, responsive to any issues. Some older kitchen supplies, a couple of clean but stained towels, couch well used.We bought a vacuum as we were a long stay.It suited our needs, had a pretty view, and we would stay there again. We bought a vacuum because we long stay.”
