We enjoyed walking a short path to the garden area-you can walk the loop or avoid hills by walking the level part--and loved how peaceful it was. The outdoor kitchen has spices, coffee and coffee presses, and even sometimes fresh eggs from their chickens. Bring a battery pack for your cell phone, maybe a flashlight (Gary was kind enough to loan us a light) and stuff to cook over the……

“My partner and I enjoyed a fabulous mountain getaway at this property. The cabin is clean and cozy, the kitchen well stocked with cookware and bare cooking essentials. The entire place is put together with a lot of thought and care. Having park access, Lake Cushman and the many trails and recreation leaves little down time!I would recommend this property to friends and family alike. “Great stay, even in the winter the boat was nice and warm. Lots of wildlife and boats coming and going, even had a visit from a seal. Very walkable location in gig harbor and great access driving to everything else. 10/10 will be back! ”
