“We enjoyed our stay very much. If it had been warm enough to enjoy all of our meals outside that would have been wonderful. We didn’t plan or pack for any rain but when it poured for a solid day, we were thankful for the cabin’s shelter and wifi and umbrella when we went out. Although we brought an infant and a 2.5yo, I wouldn’t necessarily recommend this property for such little/young kids unless you’re prepared for spotting them up and down the ladder. “Driftwood Cottage was the ideal lodging for our latest vacation trip to coastal Maine. A gorgeous, quiet location near Castine, Blue Hill, Deer Isle, and Acadia National Park and a charming, cozy accommodation for two. “Unit 9 was perfect for the 3 of us. The kitchen had enough of everything we needed to make breakfast. The living room was spacious and relaxing. The bedrooms are tight; one bed was firmer than the other. It was too rainy to use the nice deck and picnic table. Despite being located on Route 1 we were not at all bothered by highway noise. We would choose to stay here again.”

“Very clean with well equipped kitchen and a nice deck but very tight quarters for a group of 5, ac in living room but no fans in the tiny bedrooms, no ventilation in bathroom or kitchen, nowhere to dry wet swimsuits or beach towels. Layout assumes that people will be sharing beds. Read the fine print about pets.”

“If you’re looking for a relaxing lakeside cabin to retreat and relax in nature, this is the one to book! Plenty of space for 6 adults with clean and comfortable rooms. Well stocked kitchen so you can cook up if you want. Lots of thoughtful extras and plenty of firewood. Canoes were lots of fun too! We didn’t want to leave. Also not far from Camden which is the perfect little seaside town. Highly recommend this place to anyone!”
