“We checked in and was helped by the owners getting all our luggage carried to cottage.... and it was such a wonderful surprise to have espresso martinis already made up with a cheese and cracker platter in the fridge. fresh local foods also were stocked so we didn't have to go anywhere for breakfast the next day..... we made our own.”

“Hunchy Hideaway nestled 2 minutes outside of Montville is stunning and a wonderful place to stay. The cottages are immaculate and the attention to detail by the owners is lovely. They left breakfast options for us to use and the surrounds are nice and quiet and the sounds of the rainforest make you feel so relaxed. Close to the surrounds of Montville and Maleny and so many places to explore. Highly recommend Hunchy Hideaway if you are after a romantic getaway with your loved one. ”

“We enjoyed our stay. Place was peaceful, private and teanquil with a gorgeous view. Building was starting to show a little age. ”

“Great for a short break, although the outdoor balcony was in serious need of cleaning and cob web removal. The hammock was very mouldy but was lovely to sit in. Unfortunately our cottage was on the road side and the traffic was very noticeable. I was craving an escape from Sydney to hear the birds, but the traffic was overpowering them 😔 I think the cottages on the opposite side of the property overlooking the valley would be much nicer. I know it’s a case of ‘you get what you pay for’ and this……
