“This motel is on the main road (US-60 or Ash Street) but was quiet during the holiday period. It is ideally situated near Hill Street, which goes into the historic district less than a mile away. Fast food is nearby, as is hiking at Round Mountain Park. El Rey is a self-described "vintage motor court" so looks the part outside. But the interior room was large enough, the bed mostly comfortable, the spacious shower always had hot water, and the wall heater worked well, with the usual humming.……

“This is such a beautiful property! The area is so peaceful and private. There is a super fun park that is shaded right around the corner which our 2 year old loved! The pool was incredible and was the source of a lot of fun. It was the perfect temperature to cool down but feel comfortable at the same time. The area around the pool is beautifully designed and allows the perfect areas for eating or just relaxing. There were a few pool toys and floaties too!The inside was organized so well and was……
