“This place was perfect! It may sound strange but it’s the little things. The place smelled good. Loved the layout, it was quiet, nice and roomy for my husband and I. There were baskets in the bathroom on the wall that made it nice to be able to have somewhere to put your bathroom things. There was a nice full length mirror in the bedroom so I could do my makeup while my husband got ready in the bathroom. Blackout blinds. Dimming lights. King size comfortable bed. The place was one of the best……

“We loved staying here at this cozy waterfront property. It was spacious and with a functional kitchen which was a plus! The location, although a bit away from Acadia, offered an escape from the busy-ness of Bar Harbor. The surroundings are serene with a lake just upfront. Overall a good experience. Just be prepared to check out on the dot at 10.00AM to make way for the cleaners.”

“My husband and I had a wonderful stay for our first anniversary. Bar Harbor is a beautiful town and this VRBO is located directly in the middle of it all. The location was perfect for walking to food, shops, the pier, and most importantly, the Island Explorer bus stops. Although a little pricey, it was tidy, warm and had everything we needed in the kitchen and extra bedding for snuggling up.”

“The property was located in a peaceful wooded area on the quiet side of Acadia. It was not far to the major attractions in Acadia and Bar Harbor. Comfortable, clean space. There really isn’t a kitchen - no stove or sink, but there is a microwave, coffee pot and you can wash dishes in bathroom sink. There is a fridge. It had everything we needed since we were not cooking - just reheating. Lots of information sent ahead by the owners. We really enjoyed our stay. ”

“Our stay was great! The property is located in a great place for the views. The only negative thing you can say is that if you are only coming to Maine for the biggest attractions, then you have a 15-20 minutes of additional driving. Not a big deal cause the views are great on the drive as well.”

“We traveled to Maine to hike in Acadia National Park and enjoy what Bar Harbor has to offer. Even though we realized we were hitting the end of the fall foliage (while still incredible) and many businesses started to close up for the season, this didn’t stop us from coming! “great location close to Main St. Kitchen and part of bath undated. Cons: toilet crooked; floors in rooms old. Communication process for check in a little rocky: didn't get electronic documents or check-in info until last minute; onsite housekeeper had changed. Pros: Owner worked hard to clear up communication confusion despite being away on vacation. ”

“We had a nice stay in Bar Harbor. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and in a convenient location. The kitchen had everything we needed, though a few extras like wine glasses and some basic spices would have been a nice touch. The outside area wasn't quite as appealing as the inside, but overall, we enjoyed our stay.”
