“This was a work trip and I was looking for a house vs staying at a hotel for two weeks. Its in a very nice neighborhood with plenty of parking space. It's so nice to have home cooked meals there are plenty of pots, pans and utensils too. The home was very clean, there is plenty of room to stretch out and everyone had thier own bed. Showers had plenty of hot water and don't worry if your forget a towel there's plenty in each bathroom. We are planning a family fishing & golf trip next spring and I……

“We had an awesome Thanksgiving weekend in this home! There was snow on the ground from the past week’s snow storm and the family was so glad that we’re able to play with the fur babies on ice! The cabin is so cozy and we had everything we needed in it. The entire home has so much room and we especially enjoyed the amenities, pet-friendliness, and location of the place. We hope to visit again soon!”

“Nice rental inside the country club with access to recreational areas of the club. Great host, prompt responses and instructions. John also helped with shipping my keys I had left behind at the property during checkout. Property is as shown in the photos. Kitchen is adequately equipped.Patio in the back is big and very relaxing. Great view of the lake from front porch and upstairs bedroom. Overall a great experience and host. “The property was functional and mostly clean. The grill was not clean and the heating filters need to be replaced, but the place was well equipped and worked well as a base for our day trips. It lacks a lot of personal touches and small conveniences (e.g., no facial tissues, one half roll of paper towels, towels and linens were stained); comes off as a rental property, not someone's home, but that is how it is used and it works.”

“We stayed at Brad and Megan’s beautiful cabin for our wedding weekend and it was the absolute most perfect experience. The house is beautiful and in a great location, and the hosts (+ Dana) were very easy to communicate with. Almanor is a special place to us and our families and we definitely hope to stay here again! 10/10!!”

Check in process was a breeze, the house itself is as beautiful as the pictures. Bonus points because it included baby proofing items, and a high chair. “There were several large fires that were closing roads and creating so much smoke that we were not able to stay in the home. There should be more photos of the area that the home is in. We had friends drive by and the homes next to this one and the neighborhood were less than desirable.”
