“Excellent room in a very comfortable house ”

“Great location on the harbour. All the staff we met were very helpful and friendly. Room was comfortable and clean. Limited parking which is chargeable if not booking direct. 15 minute walk to town centre. We didn’t use the restaurant but looked nice with locally sourced goods. ”

“Our second time here and you can not fault this place . The rooms, the staff, the location are just perfect and the dogs are made to feel like VIP’s. The hot tub is lovely and the restaurant has such a nice ambiance about it ( and yes dogs are welcome in there too!)”

“Fantastic seafront location, the hotel is a slight maze of stairs and corridors, but there is a lift. Our room was a good size, comfortable, quiet and very clean. Good restaurant and bar with friendly staff. We will return.”

“Stayed here for a 2 night break. Friendly welcome and a lovely room (The Hayloft). Breakfast was delicious with fresh fruit and cereal to start and a nice home cooked breakfast. Great touch with having a toaster on the table to toast the delicious bread and enjoy the marmalade. Breakfast was efficient with no waiting. Liz and John have a delightful place for a stay.”

“Need to walk up staircase to rooms on first or second floor, clean and tidy, well maintained. Double glazed window keeps out noise. Good value for price.”
