“A very welcomed arrival, receptionist was lovely and pleasant. Couldn’t have asked for more, the rooms were perfect, we were given a free upgrade to a newly refurbished room which was a lovely unexpected extra and very welcomed. The spa was great, and the food in the restaurant was well above average, all expectations were truly exceeded. Would definitely recommend! ”

“Had a lovely couple of night's at the white hart. On arrival there was ample free parking, at reception there were happy, smiling faces. Everything was explained and check in was very quick. The room was spacious, clean and well equipped with everything you need. Bathroom was bright and clean with a bath/shower. The bar/restaurant staff were extremely pleasant and quick to get your orders through and on the table. Menu was nice and the food was great and reasonably priced. Location was great……

“Unusual and quirky room.Decorated really well.Above a pub but quiet. Only quibble, no one around when checking out as pub closed at 10 am.No instructions where to leave the keys.Had to leave them in the door lock.”

“Room absolutely stunning! Bed really comfortable, bathroom enormous and spotless. Loved the breakfast hamper really nice touch. Only downside was the noisy pub downstairs, would be really difficult to sleep. We made the decision to go down and have a drink, the locals and staff were very welcoming so we made the most of it 😊.”

“We have stayed at The Victory three times now, it is very convenient if you want to go out for food around West Mersea and don't want to worry about driving. Plus it is close to the seafront walk of West Mersea Beach. Rooms are very clean, plus you have the advantage that they are part of a pub, therefore the ability to step down for a drink or food at any point.”
