“We got to Viz before the season started with many places closed up. I was so worried this would be a bust. However the staff at the hotel Avete, Maria and Tamara were wonderful and helped us have a fun and relaxing time, making great recommendations for food, helping with a rental car and giving us tips on where to go. The breakfasts were ample and yummy! The hotel and garden are gorgeous. I would go back in a second any time of year!! Really wonderful highlight of the trip ”

“The room was adequate for a one night stay, however not as close to town as expected and up a lot of stairs unless you know an alternate route. Taxis not so easy to get. I would suggest anybody walking to look up the route for cars so you don’t have stairs, with suitcases. Very helpful with suggestions of better walking routes and places to eat and happy to store our bags for the day. “Leuke accomodatie die de kamers aan het vernieuwen is. Wij zaten in een gerenoveerde kamer op de derde verdieping. Hele fijne douche, nette kamer, fijn balkon. Alleen de trap was loodzwaar naar boven haha. Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel! Simpel, maar prima ontbijt. Geen dineropties, maar wellicht is dat in het hoofseizoen anders. “The stay itself was wonderful, we had a gorgeous view from our room and the Adriana resort is gorgeous. The only issue was that we booked for Beach Bay but didn’t get to stay at the hotel we originally booked. “Ivanka was such a great host, answered all my questions and gave me some advice of local transport and trip ideas before I arrived. Lovely welcome, including a map of suggestions for Hvar town. The room was great, a little kitchenette to make food but I opted to just use the fridge. Air conditioning was welcome, as was the balcony with the beautiful views, including of the sunset. Hvar is very hilly, so yes the property is up a hill, but you can just take it steady. It’s worth it!”
