“Wonderful! Not sure how anyone could give a bad review. Incredibly friendly staff, welcoming to my pup, beautiful location and view. Quiet and peaceful. I didn’t try the restaurant downstairs but it was packed and it’s off season. Comfy bed, huge bathroom and great shower. The only thing I would say is the third floor has very narrow stairs that would be hard for folks with mobility issues. Also it was a little weird to have to walk through a restaurant to go to your room but doubt it would be……

“The property was charming, and I wish I had more time to take in the Ellis Inn's other amenities. I felt bad that I missed the original breakfast time on my first morning there due to jet lag, but Paula was so accommodating. The room was great, and the bed was a little too comfortable. It is an excellent location if you are visiting northern and central Vermont but be advised that parking can be a little tricky there. “This is our second day at the house and once again we had a wonderful visit. House is clean well stocked for cooking, clean beds and bathroom and a classic A-frame style. Direct access off the back deck down to the water was key as we ice fished directly behind the house. I would recommend this property to anybody looking for getaway in northern Vermont.. ”
