“The location is close to the main historical buildings and tourist centres. The breakfast buffet provides diversified kinds of good foods and is worthwhile to pay extra cost for it. Most of the staff are welcoming and helpful. But the staff of cashier are a bit too cool to greet their guests. The dust on the cups in the minibar broke the image of its “blink blink cleanliness “. It’s good to live there for one day and try the breakfast buffet. But it is not suggested to live there for more……

“Pros - lovely apartment, incredibly clean, hotel staff super helpful, PIN code entrance made sharing the apartment very easy. Cons - definitely not the sea view we paid for, the pool is incredibly small, and only 6 loungers. Our balcony never had the sun. Overall lovely apartment if you are after a base for a city break. I would not boon this again if I wanted a more chill by the pool holiday. ”

There was a blue sensor light on the ceiling which did disturb sleep as it lit up with the slightest of movement and the ceiling was too high to cover the light temporarily. Stayed in March so too cold and windy to enjoy balcony which had a partial sea view and view of Valetta. Room service overall was good, but some issues getting tea and coffee to cover both an evening drink and morning, though……

“Malta is an exotic place for me. The hotel is located very near the airport, with about 15 minutes of walk. A taxi ride would be only 5 minutes. But directions are not clear and almost all the buildings were closed and looked all the same so it was rather difficult to find the place. The young attendant at the front desk was kind and polite. But his duty hours were between 6am and 3pm only. That means any one arriving after 3pm needs to follow the clues left on the door to open the gate and……

“The Melior is conveniently placed for Valetta and a few minutes walk to the bus station. Even though its on the main thoroughfare, its quiet. The breakfastwas delivered from Starbucks and was plentiful. However, for 3 out of 4 days they had no gluten free options available. Which meant we had to find a gluten free option outside.”
