“The worst hotel we stayed in. The only saving grace was the location next to monkey finger, and the hike we did into the mountain with a guide from the hotel. The hotel was unlike the photos , it was unclean, room very sparse not even face towels or soap, no chair to seat on. Sockets come out of the wall as you use them. Breakfast at a surcharge was terrible no eggs just some bread , jam, chocolate spread and cheap yogurt .”

“We had 6 people travelling from Merzouga to Marrakech and had the pleasure staying at various properties along the way. Le Domaine M was hands-down the Rockstar property. Great signage in, impeccably landscaped property, beautiful grounds and pool. Apparently the centre of the building has been covered recently., well done. The queen bed was lush. Food was very tasty as well. Highly recommend this property!!”

“Ancienne demeure restaurée. Si le confort est spartiate, le cadre est grandiose et l'accueil très chaleureux. Le repas était simple et excellent. Nous avions prévu de partir tôt. Le gérant a tenu à nous préparer le petit déjeuner à 6 h et à nous accompagner avec sa lanterne jusqu'à notre voiture. Excellente solution d'hébergement à proximité de Telouet.”

“Not sure how this hotel is rated as a 3-star. Our room had no heat and when we spoke to the owner, he brought a small propane space heater to the room. Not only did it not heat the room, but the danger of a propane heater in an enclosed space is obvious. The bed was a boxspring with a thin pad. We could feel ever spring as we tried to sleep. We decided to leave after one night (we had booked two nights) only to have no one at the 'front desk' to turn our key over to (at 8.00am). Further, the……

“Sitting up on the terrace contemplating the mountain range across the Aït Bouguemez Valley was worth the visit! The delicious meals and hospitality only added to the good memories. While this is not a destination for those seeking luxury, it was quite comfortable. I enjoyed my 3-night stay in this village so much that I booked a second stay near the end of my vacation trip. “Excellent accueil Pas de chauffage dans les chambres et il faisait très froid heureusement pas dans le lit qui disposait de bonnes couvertures. C’est dommage car l’endroit est très bien pour une halte à proximité du plus haut col du Maroc. Je recommande hors saison très froide. Nous avions de la neige.”
