“The location is quite difficult to arrive. Be sure to take taxi at yumoto station which cost 800 yen in 10mins max. Food is incredible but plate and accessories are just so so. Room onsen is absolutely stunning but the outdoor shower area need some guts to use in winter.
Overall speaking, you must try this if u want good kaiseki and outdoor onsen.”
“A satisfying hot spring hotel with spacious rooms and a stunning 180-degree view. The hotel offers three types of hot springs: open-air, private, and public. I particularly enjoyed the open-air hot spring. The breakfast was delicious with thoughtful variations each day during my two-day stay. Additionally, the hotel is well-equipped with various skincare products, and complimentary coffee and juice. A hotel worth considering for couples and families! (Tip: Conveniently located next to a mountain……
“We suppose there was two buildings for this bnb which is B-1&B-2, but it’s not! It was a one building separated 2 parts, therefore, the house was very small, the toilet was super small. No coffee or any tea bags provided, have to pay for washing machine. It’s not user friendly for guests. ”
“Very discreet and very quiet hotel (only 15 rooms). Room was big (good enough for three tatami with room to spare), has a small terrace with our own hot spring bath. It was a very relaxing experience soaking in the hot bath during the morning while enjoying the green mountain scenery.
Location is a bit out of the way and up on a winding slope, but who cares, I didn’t feel the need to go out when I was there. ”
“All the staff members are incredibly friendly. Although some of them had limited English skills, they made every effort to communicate effectively with us. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming, and I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to all of them. The building is very new, and the view was stunning—especially with the tall green trees, which added to the cool and tranquil atmosphere. I would definitely love to return and stay at this hotel again.”
“Nice quiet neighborhood tucked on top of a hill. Place was clean, modern and well stocked and convenient to Hakone-Yumoto station (10 min walk). Recommend!”
“It’s a wonderful hotel with spacious rooms. The traditional dinner was splendid while the breakfast buffet offers a great variety of food with some uncommon delicacies. The environment is also comfy with great views. It’s just that not so convenient in terms of its location. Takes a 10-min slightly uphill walk from the train station. Can be tiring in summer. However, shuttle bus service can be arranged in fact. Can ask for help with the arrangement at the information center on the ground floor……
"No WiFi connection provided, I stayed two nights. Only one small & middle size towels provided for private onsen bath which is not enough. The facilities were clean and nice. Staff services were considered helpful."
"We had a wonderful stay at Hakone Yoshino Pax. The staff was friendly and responsive, the onsen facilities were great. We stayed for 3 nights and dinner was amazing. Definitely recommended."
