“This was a neat place to stay in the heart of the old part of Stone Town. Quaint, but with modern amenities like AC. I had a private bathroom down the hall which was clean and not far. Older building with stairs but I enjoyed my stay and felt it was worth it for sure.”

“Owner of this hotel Sebastian and his wife goes far and beyond our expectation. We’re friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was awesome every day and air conditioning was superb… beach is 1 min walk and location has a lot of good restaurant. We highly recommend this place for couple and families. We had room for 4 and enjoyed every minute of our stay. Sebastian organized for us transport from airport when we arrived . He also organized tour which was reasonably priced and time wise very well……

“Wir waren vom 10.auf den 11.Oktober Gäste im RETRO . Das Zimmer war zweckmäßig,das Personal freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Frühstück war reichhaltig. Alles in allem sehr angenehm und entspannt. Würden wir wieder buchen. ”

“No TV! It's a low budget dorm. It's not practical to have flat TV screens in every room because of the budget but they should have one in the sitting area. Other than that the services they offer exceed expectations based on what's paid.”

“AC did not work and they couldn’t fix it. The water pressure was also extremely low which made it hard to shower and even flush the toilet. There was an awesome guy working 24/7 who was trying to solve all problems. Thumbs up to him. ”

“Ho fatto 6 giorni con la mia famiglia al Kuwa e mi sono trovato benissimo. La struttura è molto bella, un piccolo boutique hotel in cui tutti gli aspetti sono molto curati. La colazione è ricca e varia. Le camere spaziose e davvero pulite. Lo staff sempre presente. Ottima la convenzione per mangiare con ristorante a lato e quella per la spiaggia a due minuti a piedi. Raccomando specialmente se avete bambini!”

“Tamani Villas offers tranquility and peace as the defining features of this enchanting place. Being in Africa makes the experience all the more fascinating and adventurous. “Bodde 4 dager i Deluxerom. Litt hard seng, men romslig nye rom, stort bad med dusj. Svømmebassenget rett utfor døren var flott og rent. Frukost var den beste på vår ferietur i 3 veker på Zanzibar. Ikke middag på hotellet, men beachrestauranten ved stranda, server Antares også. Kort spasertur på 3 minutter til stranda, der solstoler/parasoller var reservert for oss hele dagen. ”

“The Hotel is VERY clean - The Staff is VERY friendly - The Manager Boaz is super professional, and the food in their restaurant is so good, I asked the chefs how I could learn and try to make their dishes at home... I highly recommend this Hotel. It is in the middle of Downtown Moshi, close to everything - Stay here - You will LOVE IT.”
