“This is an above and beyond home. Every detail is meticulous, not ostentatious but lovely, warm and inviting. The bed was the most comfortable ever, the kitchen was insanely equipped with everything you could possibly imagine, the grounds were immaculate, the hot tub was wonderful and it was one big playground for kids to explore and revel in! And the hosts could not have been nicer and more communicative and accommodating! This is definitely a place I want to come back to again and again! I……

“Everything was great about the property but you don’t want to arrive (or leave) at night in the dark. Very dangerous roads leading up the mountain. Beautiful views and great house. Would stay there again. ”

“Great couples getaway. The deck with fantastic mountain view sunsets and hot tub made for a memorable stay. Place was cozy and well maintained and right size for a couple. Only nitpicks were the spiderwebs on deck fencing and a couple of blinds that need replacing. ”

“The River House is as advertised, well appointed, clean, comfortable beds, peaceful with a hot tube and the sound of a river which you can walk down too. It was much further away in terms of time than I expected. Although not too far in terms of distance, the road to the house is VERY twisty, and since we were in a rental car, took it slowly, easily taking an hour or more to and from Monterey. That was a big chunk of the day. ”
