“Were it not for a hurricane, the grounds around the main house would be beautiful. The owner/operator family, like other victims, is building back as quickly as possible. The interim condition of the exterior shows what they went through. The unaffected main house and our guest room were well-appointed and very attentive. The breakfast buffet provided to all their guests was extraordinary extravagant, as delicious and varied as you’ll find anywhere! A true 5-star experience.”

“Loved this new hotel. Great breakfast, huge rooms with a kitchen, clean, and lovely futness area. Staff was very friendly. I washed clothes which was free. I do believe Hilton should provide more than 2 washing machines for a.huge hotel. Had to wait to get a machine. Also more carts for luggage. The design of the fitness area had a wasted room.”

“We stayed at the Horton for 3 nights. It’s a lovely hotel with a friendly and welcoming vibe. We loved the breakfast, rooftop seating area and the room was extremely comfortable. Highly recommend”

“I arrived late, but had no issues accessing our room. Settling up with the front office the next morning was quick and easy. The property is in impeccable condition. Both the rooms and the outdoor/common areas were exceptionally clean. We especially enjoyed the pavilion and fire pit, where we had the chance to meet other travelers and swap stories. You can’t beat the location of the Hemlock Inn. Blowing Rock is incredibly walkable and full of charm. My wife and I strolled from one end of town……
