“Warmest reception.”

“Lovely staff. VERY welcoming and friendly. Helpful with lots of good advice. Wonderful location. Close to shops and dining options. Did not eat at the hotel as we had been referred to a "locals" restaurant. To be honest, the "cozy" double room was a bit small. Felt a bit claustrophobic. But it was a nice space. Bed was relatively comfortable. Parking was on the street and not too far from the hotel. You had to look for it. We found a spot about 25 yards down the road. There is also parking……

“The room and bathroom (2 adults, 2 kids) were quite spacious and very clean. Water pressure was excellent. comfortable bed. Hands down, the thing we loved most were the two gentlemen staff/bar tenders in the main floor bar. I mentioned to the first one that I just wanted to see highland cows- he called up a friend and sent us down the street to a local farm for an up-close. The second one gave us many great tips and suggestions for our travels. We loved sitting in the spacious bar area each……

“Just a one night stay on our way up north . It’s an old building so no lift but full of character . I’m the carers for my brother who is traveling with me & the hotel made sure that we had rooms next to each other . The rooms are ok , comfortable beds , nice ensuite bathroom but obviously as it’s an older building they aren’t like a travel inn. The breakfast was excellent & as a vegan the staff went out if their way to make sure that I had a good breakfast that I could eat . My brother……

“Could not recommend this accommodation enough - a real hidden gem! Massive, secure 2 bedroom apartment in a wider bunkhouse complex which was, when we stayed, not occupied. Only 5 mins drive from Kirriemuir and so quiet and peaceful - in the heart of the countryside. Comms were great and all mod cons throughout including WiFi, TVs in all rooms and even a starter hamper! Will definitely book again. The dog loved the outdoor space which is literally ‘on your doorstep’! A+”
