“I booked this hotel on a whim after reading the reviews and wanting to pamper myself on my vacation to India. I was traveling there with another friend of mine. The Manager Mr. Randheesh and Ms. Renju graciously greeted us and helped make tour arrangements as well. The chef and other staff kept checking on us to make sure we were comfortable and happy. The villa with the pool was grand, private and beautiful. I just wished the mountain view was not blocked by all the shrubs. I think that was not……

“Perched halfway up a mountain the hotel has amazing views over the tea plantations, forested hills and mountains reaching into the horizon. The lobby has a wow factor huge panoramic viewing balcony for the must have arrival photos. Check-in was fast and efficient and the staff oferred a variety of things to do including complimentary high tea, tea tasting, cookery class and a morning walk along the mountain. Front Desk Supervisor Ambu, Food Manager Mathew, Restaurant Manager Vipin, restaurant staff George (Chocolate Maker), and Chef Sabu were all excellent. The shows and activities at the hotel were equally enjoyable for both kids and adults. It’s a great place to stay—home away from home—and our entire 10-member team enjoyed every minute of the stay.”

“You have to remember that this is a very remote location. On basis of that the food is very good. The setting is amazing so peaceful. The hotel does not sell alcohol, this is not very clear on the description above, so has led to some negative reviews. The food is a buffet which changes each day. There is also a menu for ordering other food instead (which is where most of the non-indian food is). The rooms are very nice. We did not choose the hot tub option. We got a large balcony amongst……

“The reception when we first arrived was a bit frosty. The restaurant breakfast service was extremely poor. Our Valley view room had a toilet roll holder you find in some office buildings where roll is locked and tissue is pulled though a small gap. Two days in a row, the tissue was trapped and could not be pulled out. Each time this happens you hsve to call reception to get it sorted. I am sure I am not the only one to experience this so why not resolve it? One day we came back yo the room……
