“This casita was just as described. It was very clean and had all the necessities. It was perfect for our needs and the location was close to our event. The host made check in easy even though we arrived later than expected. I appreciate the notes throughout the house on how to use different appliances, etc. The casita and back area was private enough to feel like we were own our own, but the host made sure we knew how to get a hold of her just in case we needed anything. “Not described accurately. Needed two bedrooms since the companion accompanying me to the CE-5 conference snores loudly. Only one bedroom, only one bed. Friend slept on sofa. None of the other “rooms” qualify as a bedroom. No doors. Never got email about check in procedure. Got several indicating check in time and location. No information on unit amenities. Had to call Vrbo to find out about whether there was a coffeemaker available. The place had an odd odor upon entry.”

“Moonrise Cottage is a perfect place to escape every day stress and chaos. The remote location is very quiet and worth the effort. Cottage itself has a an eclectic decorating style. It’s got everything you need. Heidi is a wonderful host. I had lots of questions about directions etc. to get there and she was very prompt in answering and very clear on how to get there. My wife and I plan to return to this oasis.”

“I was pleasantly surprised by how charming and roomy the space was. The host was super friendly and even helped us unload when we arrived. Everything I needed was there and easy to find, although we did need to purchase our own coffee. My daughter and granddaughter live nearby and stopped in to visit - my 4 y.o. granddaughter was absolutely smitten with the bunk beds in the little kids room (giant walk-in closet) and asked if she can stay there with me next time. :) The bed was perfect. “I truly loved our stay at the farm. We stayed in the Bunny Hill property. Our favorite part was the hot tub. It was perfect!! The house was ample and fit our entire party of 7. My daughter really enjoyed walking down and feeding the animals; the alpacas, the goats, the peacocks and the chickens. We also enjoyed going down to the chicken coop and picking up eggs for breakfast. The location was very remote and serene. This location is perfect for those that want to get away and indulge in nature……

The kitchen was a standout feature — it had everything we needed to cook our own meals, with modern appliances and plenty of counter space.
