“The room and property were well-kept for a basic stay. It took literally 20 minutes to get hot water in the room. I was amazed that they still use physical keys. They also make you sign a waiver saying if you lose your key or soil any of the linens, you have to pay a $150 fee. I was worth the price we paid though, we didn't have any issues.”

“old basic simple motel. The man at check in was nice and very helpful but charged me extra for having my two kids with me. i’ve never been charged extra for kids but it was only $10. The room was clean and the area was safe. worth it if your saving money ”

“We had a long weekend stay at the Chassahowitzka hotel. Our room was well set up and clean. This is a great old Florida type place. There is a boat ramp and a spring nearby that was great to hang out at. We also enjoyed the local bar just a short walk from the hotel. The front porch is a great place to relax after a day of exploring. We will be back again.”

“Cute little place. Has microwave and coffee maker. No water source other than bathroom in my room, though they provide a couple bottles of water. Fridge is a little bigger than a mini, but still tiny. There is a café downstairs. A bit of a loud talker woke me up - peeked out the football down the stairs around 7 AM in the morning and it was just a first of theirs chatting.. Not ideal but not the cottage’s fault. They were having the conversation full blown right at the bottom of the stairs……

“Came to Rainbow River to specifically swim with the manatees. This location was excellent. Near KP Hole with boat ramp, kayaks, swimming and so much more. Especially enjoyed the hammocks. The manatee adventure was fun too. Would definitely recommend staying here.”
