The pool was great for kids and although not part of the hotel it was around the corner and free to use. The breakfast was across the road in a bar and whilst it was nice there was not a menu to choose from as such but rather you ask for a pastry or two from the selection at the bar which for me is not really what I want from a hotel breakfast but others might be……

“This was a relaxing 7 day stay in the Tuscan countryside after touring Venice, Verona, Lake Como, Milan, and Cinque Terre. Since it was mid-October our party of 4 (in 2 apartments) had the place to ourselves. Our host Ilaria was most gracious and helpful in giving suggestions re restaurants, markets to visit, train rides. The apartments were updated country homes that were well equipped, clean and comfortable. Since these are older homes, they tended to be dark inside. Otherwise the view of the……

The staff go out of their way to make you comfortable and feel well taken care of. Gigi was the sweetest man and gave us a tour of the property. There are pigs, horses, vineyards, and full garden. The rooms are big and beautiful with plenty of space and lovely decorations. ”
