Kirsty and Neil are good hosts, ready to offer recommendations if asked, but will leave you to yourselves if you prefer. They keep pigs and chickens, which we were lucky enough to feed, and I can report that the sausages, bacon & eggs at breakfast were very tasty! Added bonus of homemade cakes left out, delicious! “We booked a family suite which is lovely - very modern and tastefully decorated. A lovely tea/coffee area and bottles of water weee supplied. Both bedrooms have patio doors opening out onto outside area. The views are amazing and it is just so peaceful and quiet. Breakfast was amazing - THE BEST bacon!! Would highly recommend this place - ideal for walkers. ”

“If you are looking to stay in a traditional English Pub, this is the place. Cozy rooms with great washroom facilities. Very clean and comfortable beds. Rooms are equipped with electricity outlets, wifi and tv for those needing it. The pub itself is fantastic with a very well stocked bar. The restaurant serves home cooked meals with a great selection of local produce. From this location you are pretty central to either coast and Dartmoor itself. The staff are very friendly and have a great local……
