“The property IS next to a trout stream, that was the only good point. The property is old, run down, dirty. Rodent droppings in the kitchen drawers and roaches. Outside there were ladders and tree limbs all over the yard between the cabin and picnic area. Over all its a mess.”

“We were in the area for a ski trip which was a last minute addition, so accomodations were scarse. The Motel had rooms at a reasonable price. We had fairly low expectations. Everything was fine. A few things could be improved: 1. Need better curtains for the window that faces out front due to a very bright porch lamp. 2. Need a curtain for the bathroom window. We had to place a folder to block the view! 3. It was very hot in the room! Good for this winter weather if course, but was hard to……

“ Immaculate home on a quiet country lane. Each morning you could watch the deer in the field across the road. I wish we could have spent more time there but our visit was for a family reunion just down the road. As shown in the photos there is a beautiful backyard with firepit and hot tub. Oakland and Deep Creek Lake is nearby and less than an hour away is Blackwater Falls, WV and the quirky towns of Thomas and Davis. Don't miss the music at The Purple Fiddle! There are at least three breweries……

“We were very impressed with your modern luxury cabin in the lovely peaceful setting of Canaan Valley! It was just a short drive from the towns of Davis and Thomas and a few of the greatest waterfalls and hiking trails! We enjoyed the wonderful accommodations with all the high-end extras inside and out. The cabin is perfectly designed and tastefully decorated for the most comfortable stay! We especially liked the outdoor space with the hot tub and the firepit! We will be coming back here next……
