“We felt very lucky to stay with Alfred at his very cute, and comfortable B&B! The pictures just don’t do this hidden gem justice! Alfred is such a wonderful host making sure we were comfortable and that we didn’t need anything. He’s very knowledgeable about the area and its history which we love to hear about! “We enjoyed the property it has plenty of room for me and my friends. The river had salmon hanging out at the dock and that's would I was there to do fish for salmon so it was nice to go right out to the dock to fish.”

“The Cabin home was very spacious and clean. They added an additional outdoor dock which was nice! Great view of river with large outdoor decking. Fishing was difficult as there really isn’t an access point into river as it’s steep and river was high in area. ”

“This cabin was the perfect getaway! Shocking amount of stuff to do just minutes away. Clean and cozy. Hot tub and bonfire pit offered such a relaxing end to the evening. Thompsonville has great dining too. We visited iron fish distillery for a tasting and a snack. The food was AMAZING. We also explored crystal mountain to dine for dinner as well as took the 10 minute drive to Benzonia to shop and check out the new casino ”

With three generations, we have many different needs from a home—bedrooms on different levels, room for games, large group dining—and Buckaroo did not disappoint. “ Our group had 10 teenagers and the hot tub and game room in the garage were BIG hits. The ski room was a perfect place to contain all the equipment and dry the gear. The dryer was a bonus! We had plenty of room for the 13 of us and proximity to the slopes was very convenient. ”
