“We stayed for an extended weekend and it was so much fun. We hit up the local HEB and then set up camp. Between the views the swing and the dart board and ping pong it was the weekend we needed. Also if you love birds this is the place to stay. ”

“Upon Friday arrival, entered gate and the brick walk to the front door was covered in sand and dirt. To the left of the front door on the porch sat a styrofoam cooler, lid to the side and a bag of garbage in it. Inside the house seemed reasonably clean but by the time we visited each room we had killed two scorpions. Out back by the lakeside the nice grass that is portrayed in the listing appears to have not been mowed this year and had sticker burrs growing closer to the house. On the back……

“The bed was comfortable. The decor nice. Bathroom and kitchen supplies adequate. Kitchen table and sofa were a good size for two and comfortable. Nice and quiet. However, the shower and kitchen sink were on the primitive side and the whole place could have stood a good wipe down.”

“We rented the boathouse for our family for my daughter’s graduation from Baylor. It was perfect because it’s close enough to Waco but far enough away from the hustle and bustle. Our family enjoys fishing and camping, so this location was perfect!! There are so many things to do at the ranch, everyone was entertained all weekend. The staff was so helpful and friendly!”

“We stayed here two nights while we were in College Station for the football game. The was even cuter and cozier in person than the pics! The house is recently remodeled and the host has thought of everything! Beds were great, everything was super clean, and the host left a box of pastries that served as a great breakfast both mornings. We loved the home and would definitely stay again!”

“What a sweet spot we stumbled upon! The lake view is incredible and the house was so well stocked. Beds were comfy, and we all had a wonderful time. The only downside is that we had no idea it was a duplex and the owners would be staying above us for the weekend. It turned out to be totally fine, it was just a surprise at first, as I didn't see anything in the listing regarding this possibility.”

“Overall a very nice little place. It is right in front and beside houses so it’s not as secluded as it seems online. It states that it sleeps 3, a queen bed and a futon, however unless it’s a kid that is your 3rd guest, I’d not recommend this place as the futon is small. Everything else was great and they thought of lots of small details. ”

“With all the homecoming activities we were barely there during our visit. Though it was outside Waco, still pretty convenient for everything in Waco. Hosts were very nice and responsive. ”
