“Wonderful cottage, with a spectacular view, located minutes from Cedar Pointe State Park and short drive to downtown Clayton. The cottage interior is incredibly clean, nicely decorated and remodeled with thoughtful amenities including onsite laundry and an exceptionally well stocked pantry for guests to use. The cottage includes access to the boathouse amenities and I enjoyed utilizing the kayaks and paddle boards available for guest use and even the outdoor grill was immaculate. Very……

“Great communication with host. View onto the lake is stunning. Plenty of furniture outside to enjoy the view. Location is pretty central to Wendy’s Market, Elgin and Westport to stock up on groceries. House had all we needed (laundry detergent, dishwashing detergent, clean towels/linens. AC was nice to have as it was hot during our stay. House was cleaned nicely for our arrival. ”

“My wife and I had a great stay for our anniversary weekend! Beautiful private island with lots of yard space for the dog to run around! The cottage has everything you need and lots of seating both indoors and out. We especially loved the access to the boathouse keeping our boat protected from the elements! A short trip to the Ivy Restaurant gave us a break from cooking responsibilities for a night and provided a beautiful view looking back toward the island. We had an amazing stay and can’t wait……

“Stayed here for my anniversary! It was very cute! Great for a couple and their dog. Loved the outdoors feeling which is want I wanted for us. Didn’t mind not being in the middle of everything as I wanted calm and nature. I will say it is well water so if you don’t like the taste of that- make sure you buy bottled water. ”

“By far my favorite rental we have ever stayed in. Both the house and the boathouse were clean and beautifully furnished. The dock was easy to navigate with a boat, and the view from the front porch was stunning. The island was very quiet and peaceful, with lots of wildlife all around. The house was well furnished and stocked, but you will need to bring your own shower toiletries. Boat rentals are available from Clayton Marina and include a free slip and a parking spot for trips into town. ”
