“The cottage is super well equipped. My family and I are used to bringing kitchen staples with us (like sugar, oil, condiments, etc.) but to our surprise everything was there ready for use. The whole place was very clean (incl. Linens). I would visit again and recommend. Location is great, close drive to hiking trails, brewery and Gananoque town but secluded enough that we were able to relax in front of the river. “We were excited to ice fish the famed Chaumont Bay for trophy walleye. Unfortunately the fishing didn't go as planned. The house was great, very clean and comfortable for our group. There was a minor issue with the boiler that the manager solved very quickly. I would definitely stay here again if the fishing was better. If you are headed there to ice fish, you should be aware that access to the water from the cottage is via a set of narrow stairs, and getting a shanty to the back yard is……
