“First time visiting windermere and booked this hotel for me and the Mr and it did not disappoint! Was absolutely beautiful! The rooms were modern and well decorated and the hot tub in with steam room was just perfect! We enjoyed the breakfast and loved the fact the hotel was not far from the lake. “This proved to be one of the superior B&Bs we have ever used. Apart from the comfort and cleanliness we discovered two small brownies and two KitKats on the tea tray. Breakfast was delicious - porridge, fresh fruit salad, any cereals, full breakfasts and scrambled eggs with smoked salmon . Very inexpensive.”

“My second time in a year to the Lake District. Great Hotel and excellent rooms. My room was flooded with light and a big comfortable bed. Heating was great and the house keeping. The breakfasts are fantastic and certainly worth the indulgence. It’s located in a lovely village, with breweries, pubs, tea rooms and local craft shops. I highly recommend a stay. ”
