“Nice pool area. The waiters are nice. The management is terrible. Gym is small / outdated. Treadmill doesn’t start at times and is narrow. Tennis court is good but the ball was old and only one. Bath / toilet facilities don’t function properly. Be careful when you book, so you don’t get asked for more money upon check out. Breakfast is good but basic. Tajines are great including couscous. Skewers weren’t good. Meat too dry and tiny pieces. You have to guess well how hungry you will be all……

“We couldn’t have felt more welcome. The hotel is out in the sticks, so you need transport to get around. The hotel is very helpful with arrangements, although it can get expensive. The Anima Gardens a 10 minute ride away, was worth visiting. The hotel is aging a little, but is very quaint and a good place to relax. “Situated in the foothills of The High Atlas Mountains, with stunning views towards the snow capped Mountains beyond the wonderful manicured lawns and gardens. The hotel is built of local red sandstone and is beautifully laid out. Pool too cold in Jan but looks fabulous. “Overall, the property is beautiful. The architecture and decor is lovely and I presume authentic to Morocco. The food was fine (really enjoyed the tagine). There needs to be some repair and maintenance done but for what we paid, I have no complaints. The owner was accommodating when we asked to switch rooms. He moved us to a bigger, better room.
