“Very clean & looks brand new inside. Decorated really cute! I didn’t realize it was one of 3 units within a house but that did not affect our stay at all. Just FYI, there is no W/D on-site here, that is in the listing but I didn’t think to check. “We had a great stay at this beautiful property. Everything went well from the customer service with booking the property, to the quick, easy checkout. The house was well stocked with all the kitchen essentials, the place was very clean, the beds were extremely comfortable, and the house layout worked well for our family. We loved getting to use the tennis, pickleball, and basketball courts. What a bonus! This place is a true gem in the heart of Nacogdoches.”

“The Lumberjack Hideaway is a gem! For me being an alumni the fact that it shares a parking lot with Butcher Boys is a super bonus! That was in no way an issue for parking at the house, there is a driveway for the house. The house is very accommodating with 3 large bedrooms and 2 full baths. It is centrally located - Butcher Boys (food), downtown (3 mins away), liquor store (30 second walk), campus (5 minutes), Kroger grocery store (4 minutes).The purple room is a nice touch with ping pong table……

“I grew up in East Texas in a little town 20 mins from this house and as soon as I pulled into the property I got that “home” feeling that I remembered when living in the country. Walked into the house and it was perfect! Had everything you need for a stay of a few days or a few weeks. Great modern/country blend feel. Our daughter is at SFA and we will book here from now on. Far enough out to enjoy the country quietness and sky but also just a short drive to Nacogdoches. Thank you Julie!!”

“When we first arrived at 4pm, one hour after check-in, the room was not cleaned. I had to call the host and Vrbo to get them to send out a cleaner. The cleaning lady was so sweet and she did a great job, even though we didn't get into the room until 6pm. The host admitted that they overlooked there were 2 separate bookings for the one weekend, which would need to be cleaned in between. “We enjoyed our stay at the Big Pink. We had a two night stay for our daughter to perform at the SFA game. It was so cute and clean. The area was quiet. We slept well. The beds were comfortable and the shower was huge. Only nit picky thing is we needed more cookware. Maybe another skillet and a few pots and pans. We would stay here again. ”
