“My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed La Finca Azul, and especially the family whose vision it is -- including Nacho, Oli, and Cece, the three dogs. I've stayed in agroturismos in Italy, and this was a very similar experience, complete with the fabulous food. I'm pretty sure Italy doesn't offer swimming by yourself in a mountain stream surrounded by the echoes of howler monkeys. ”

“A beautiful view! The town the home is situated is very cute, friendly people, well appointed grocery store and a couple of great places to grab some local cuisine. The place itself has some gorgeous views, a beautiful property surrounded by fruit trees, and Macaws that greeted us every morning and many evenings. The breeze that comes through the property is amazing and keeps the place cool with sliding doors open. We loved the splash pool and the partial open air bathroom concept. Also the bed……

“We stayed here for only two nights for my birthday, as we wanted to splurge a bit. This is a gorgeous, very well manicured 5-star resort. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a higher level room for my birthday, so that front desk staff knew how to make an impression. The room was crazy amazing fabulous. Look at their website pics as they are very accurate. Expedia includes two tours when booking, so we got a fabulous night frog tour, and a half-day personalized tour of their wildlife……
