“We had a great stay. Overall the place is really nice however there were safety issues. Need more handrails on outside stairs The tile outside was a fall waiting to happen. Having to leave pool cleaner in pool at all times made swimming harder trying to stay away from hose that stretched across pool. ”

“This place is gem. Very nicely situated with lots of space, a pool table, screened in porch, a pier with rails (rare), and a huge yard. The two king beds and all the bunk beds make it so easy to have several people stay. The house is so nicely stocked with so much more than I have ever seen. The hosts clearly love their place and want others to enjoy their time. Just down the way is a Marina with live band, bar, and restaurant...this place has it all. We also had Lavaca Bar B Que……

“We have stayed here many years and it's always a great time. This place has everything you need. We enjoy fishing, playing games in the barn and cooking in the barn. Highly recommend!”

“The home accommodates large families but is more like a fisherman’s paradise in regards to sleeping quarters. There are three private bedrooms downstairs and there is an huge upstairs bedroom that has beds for about maybe 12 people or more. Great for family reunions where you can put all the kids upstairs. Only problem is there is no restroom upstairs and only an outside entrance—no indoor staircase. So if you gotta tinkle at night—you gotta use the outdoor staircase and come into the main……

“Was not aware that it was a 2nd story only house as i am kn crutches right now after surgery. So getting up and down was quite time consuming. But the house itself was nice and kids enjoyed fishing off the dock in the back. Caught some decent size catfish and reds.Overall was a good stay. Nice and quiet.peaceful”
