“As a solo female I’m always concerned about my safety as a number one goal, in this place not only I felt safe I felt represented by all young men who assisted me and helped me through few problems I got through schedule in Samarkand which I gotta change everyday extending my stay as my plan to enter Tajikistan was cancelled so I had to rearrange all my outbound tickets and itinerary, staff promptly helped me letting me use their main computer also offered me to used their phones to call……

“Easy access to the Bibi-Khanym Mosque, Registan square, and Shirin Bika Aqa Mausoleum. The little downside is access to the Hotel in inconvenient as the hotel is located in a restricted zone. ”

“Maroqanda is a cozy hotel located very close to the Registan Square. The rooms are nice, clean and warm; breakfast is good and the staff is excellent. We had an early checkout, they made sure we get a packed breakfast and the registration card done, well in time. Excellent hotel for anyone travelling to Samarkand. ”

“観光のため数日滞在しました。客室は非常に清潔で、極めて快適に過ごせました。(シャワーの水圧もバッチリ) 観光要所や市街からはやや離れており、ホテル周辺で歩いてレストランを探したり、買い物をするのには向きません。(ローカルなファーストフードや飲み物を買うコンビニ的なお店はあります。)ただ、ホテル内のレストランはイタリアンが中心で割高感はあるものの、使いやすく美味しいです。水などのソフトドリンク、軽いお菓子もホテル内で購入できます。 立地についても、配車アプリでタクシーはすぐ呼べますし、観光要所まで10分前後なので気になるほどではありませんでした。 ちなみに配車アプリを利用すれば、深夜や早朝でもタクシーはつかまえられます。その為、駅や空港へのアクセスは良好に感じました。(旧市街にあるホテルなどはタクシーに乗れる場所まで歩く必要があるホテルもあると聞くので) フロントのスタッフは英語が堪能で、フレンドリーかつ親切でした。洗濯機の使い方も非常に丁寧に教えてもらえて、本当に助かりました。”

“レギスタン広場に歩いて行けるほど場所は良いが、奥まったところにあるので少しわかりにくい。 夜はスタッフがいなかったので探すのが大変だった。オーナーの家は入口すぐそばの家ではなくもう少し手前、レクサスが置いてある。 チェックアウトの際に、空港もしくは駅まで無料送迎あり。タジクへの国境タクシーとかツアーの案内もありました。機会あればまた泊まりたい。”

“Good points: good breakfast options, hotel decor was good, rooms good sized Bad points: Not enough hot water despite multiple requests, there was a leakage in the toilet with all water on the toilet floor. Can be avoided”
