“Very kind and caring staff, who really go over a beyond for their customers. Safe site fully fenced/gated and staff live on site and are happy to support you no matter the day/night. House keeping, room service, air conditioning, laundry service, beautiful free breakfast they also provide dinner meals on request. Room very tidy and clean with sliding door. “The staff, including the restaurant are excellent. I can't say enough of the warm hospitality that was offered me throughout my 2 week stay.
The hotel is well situated to lively nightime food options, walking along the waterfront, and close to town. The hotel is a little tired, but it also had its charm.
Do yourself a favour and book one of the rooms facing the water - evenings on the patio taking in the ambiance are well worth the few extra $$ (versus a room with no balcony).

“I’ve been to a couple of places ever since I got to Tonga but this by far my favorite. So clean and they have cooking supplies and a whole kitchen in my studio room. It was a studio but it’s big. ‘Uliti was so sweet and professional. Wifi hardly worked but it wasn’t a problem cos I had my own hotspot. Thank you again for being kind and good customer service.”
“Everyone that works there is amazing! It is very clean and i never saw a bug, which is big for me. There is no separation from the shower and toilet but it works. The shower water wasn’t hot but warm felt good. It’s not fancy but we didn’t come for that. We came to explore the island and fell in love with the people. If you are expecting a Hilton, this isn’t for you. We enjoyed our stay immensely. ”

“Easy to book. Map was not accurate but we found it in the end! No wifi available. Rooms all clean and the property was well furnished. Excellent support from the property manager in the adjacent property who went above and beyond. Couldn't recommend her highly enough.”
“I didn't get what I expected in booking a deluxe king room. The air condition didn't work, the TV didn't work, cupboards were broken, there was no mini bar stock in the fridge, no tea/coffee supplies, only the kettle. We were moved to a standard room and still the air con didn't work. The towels were not replenish the whole time we were there.”
“I was visiting a friend volunteering for the Peace Corps just down the road so my location was critical. Was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the White Sands resort. My room was well apportioned and very clean. It looked out through palms to a beautiful white sand beach and ocean. They even strung a hammock just outside my door which made for excellent down time.
