“We really enjoyed our stay in Ashburn guest house. The property was clean and bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower pressure was really good, nice for a shower after a long hike! Walking distance to town with nice view too. Hayley was really friendly and helpful, she packed us a really nice breakfast for our early morning hike on our first morning there, which was thoughtful of her. Only thing that could be improved on would be for the sitting in breakfast, it would be best if hot……

“Alan is a super-friendly and helpful guy, but the beds aren’t comfy and the walls are paper-thin (other guests sound like they’re almost in your room). Definitely not worth the price or 4-star rating. ”

“This is a perfect apartment for a small group to visit Fort William. It has a parking spot if you are driving yourself. It put us in driving range ti visit the Isle of Skye. Takes a whole day to do but worth it if you get over that way”

“In general, it is good enough for travellers. City view with nearby restaurants. Saw a few young staff while checking in. Look like a family-run business. The room is large with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is a set rather than a buffet. ”

“It was a great location out of Fort William. Checking in took time due to the staff member not being present in the reception for about 10 minutes after we arrived. A bell on reception may be handy to alert staff to the arrival of guests.”

“We had a nice stay at the Corriegour Lodge Hotel. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, and the location is excellent. Some of the aspects of the hotel are somewhat worn and faded - the bedspread, carpets - but we still had a comfortable stay. ”

“Overall, the hotel is beautiful and we enjoyed our stay. I would say in terms of service the restaurant wasn't as accommodating, when I tried to book for dinner I was getting 'push back' of 'come now as we will be busy later' and we ended up eating somewhere else. It can be improved. ”
