“My family of 5 adults loved staying in this wonderful, spacious home. We were all so comfortable inside with the layout that gave each of us the privacy when we wanted and space for meal prep, dining, board games and hanging out together too. There were more than enough linen and towels.The location is truly minutes from the centre of Gravenhurst and also close to the activities we chose to engage in. Our host was very helpful in every way.We had so much fun in this home and in the Gravenhurst……

“The cottage is beautiful and has everything you need. Pros:- The kids loved swimming off of the dock.- The firepit is lovely- The property manager was quick to respond when we had questions. Recommendations:- bring water shoes as the water is shallow- bring bug repellent as the area is heavily treed so there are quite a few mosquitos and black flys”

“Cottage Binx hosted our two families for a cottage getaway. The cottage was nestled in the woods on the Muskoka river and provided great privacy. The cottage itself was very clean and perfectly accommodated our two families. Our host Tej was excellent in answering any questions we had during our stay, always responding within minutes. The cottage has kayaks, and the kids loved fishing on either the paddle boat or the aluminum rowboat. The fire pit area was awesome for a campfire and roasting……

“We really enjoyed our family getaway over the Labour Day. The cottage is cute and is a close drive to Bala. It would be have been preferable to be waterfront or have better lake access but the place was clean, the owners were nice and the area is still lovely. ”

“Great quiet location away from the city. Cute little cottage - enough for a couple. Close to small town of Bala. Only issue was the heat in the living area. Need more heaters and blinds in the living room. ”

“Comfortable. Clean. Hot tub took some time to warm up it once it was warm it was perfect. Coffee, tea and other basics were available in the kitchen and the tv has Netflix and other options to sign in to. Very relaxing”

“We rented this property with two other families and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, spacious, and well-stocked with towels, kitchen essentials, and even some outdoor toys and life jackets. We made use of the kayaks, hockey nets and basketball net. Justin is extremely prompt with communication and a pleasure to deal with. Location is less than 10 minutes off of Highway 400 - very convenient for those coming from the GTA. Would definitely recommend!”

“Great lake! The boat house was clean and cozy, well equipped. The only thing is that it needs more lighting. The drive way slopes so stay on the gravel part as the car can get stuck if parked on the steep non gravel part especially if the ground is wet it can be muddy. The driveway that leads to the cottage, the bush needs to be cut back as the entrance is hidden. Bring bug spray. There is a nice dock to sit on and watch the sun set and great to dine outside.
